Have you ever wished that you can get a darker tan? You keep tanning but don’t seem to get any darker? Well, you may have hit a “tanning plateau”.
How do you break through this plateau and get darker? There are a few “tricks” that you can use to break through this plateau and get a darker tan. First of all, take a look at what lotion you are using. Are you using an accelerator or a maximizer? If you are using an accelarator you can switch to a maximizer to break through. You may also want to try a lotion with a bronzer to give you that extra “kick” of color.
Another “trick” is to visit an oxygen bar before you tan. Twenty minutes of oxygen before you tan will stimulate melanin by 10 percent. Not only can you break through a tanning plateau, you can tan 10 percent faster as well. Can’t find an oxygen bar close by? Go to the gym instead! You can achieve the same effect by doing a good cardiovascular workout before tanning.
Finally, in order to break through a tanning plateau, re-stimulate your melanin. You do this by going into a tanning bed with a higher percentage of UVB.
At Glamour Tans, our fully trained and certified staff can assist you in breaking through your tanning plateau and help you acheive the best tan possible.
